For three rocking months in 2010 The Rock Playground delivered a hard-hitting dose of the most twisted alternative clubbing the city has ever seen. Providing two rooms of decadence from 10pm until the early hours, The Rock Playground was the most brash nightspot for the discerning alternative clubber. The website will be left open for those interested in the carnage that occured!

There are no words that can describe the Rock Playground launch night. We've pondered "epic", "awesome" and "mind-blowing" but none seem to go far enough.
I think all that is really left to say is THANK YOU to the armies of amazing people who showed up and rocked, boogied, drank and partied like the world was about to end. It was a pleasure having you and we hope you had fun. and there will be photos incoming.
We're not done yet, as the Rock Playground re-opens for business on Saturday November 13th, same bat-time, same bat-venue. More great drinks deals and double the fun beckons once more. LET'S GET IT ON!

OH YEAH! Now that's what a Sequel should be! Many thanks to the hundreds of crazy folks who came and rocked with us in November. I guess it's time we got festive with it so we're proud to be looking forward to The Rock Playground's Christmas Nightmare, Saturday December 11th. Same bat time, same bat-channel.
Free mince pies and mulled wine to ALL customers await, so come get festive with us! We promise to spread all the cheer and then some!
And if you're looking for somewhere to rock out with an office/student outing - give us a shout asap and we'll sort some major deals for you!

Tough news I'm afraid folks, due to changes in venue management the Rock Playground has been forced to call it a day!
Should a new venue crop up we'll let you know, but until then, thanks for the memories!
